About Us

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Inventor and Chief Disruptor of Gardening Trends, James Brake has over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, software, management and design for his software company DW Alliance LLC. He has also consulted for many software companies in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley in this time. James’ love of design, science and physics started very young when he started programming TRS-80s at age 13 and continued his learning through high school with courses in computer programming, robotics, industrial automation and industrial design. Post high school studies focused on nuclear physics and rocketry electronics in the US Navy and database design at UC Berkeley. Hands-on learning and practical application are James’ biggest assets. He learned horticulture as a child working on his grandfather’s 36 acre farm in rural Mississippi. At age of 23 he managed his first factory of 36 employees and was able to lower operating costs by 75% at Great Northern Sea Products. James started his first company Triune Seafoods at age 25 which operated successfully for 3 years. It is in this company that James invented and had fabricated an improved way of processing salmon eggs for sushi.

At present James employs two software engineers and one electrical engineer who work exclusively on the artificial intelligence. The intention is to add more staff as funds allow and needs arise. All our engineers have many years of work experience in programming, software implementation, electronics design with a focus on large, scalable computing networks.

IN A NUTSHELL

MyGrowBot is a coffee table-sized, solar-powered, food growing robot which has been researched and developed over the last 8 years. It offers a unique opportunity to people who want to grow their own food but don’t want to weed or dig. Our primary strategy is to develop the most convenient and cost-effective food growing system that is unlike traditional farming and hydroponics gardening, meaning there is no digging, weeding, mineralizing, checking Ph, and monitoring EC levels. The primary task required of MyGrowBot customers is harvesting from the convenience of their yards or decks.

Within the next two years, we will offer an automated hydroponic gardening solution for residential indoor use as well as for commercial use.
